Tastebud Tours and Events was founded by Lynn F. Jaynes and is owned and operated by Lynn and his wife Karon. Tastebud Tours is a walking guided tour including food tastings and fun historical facts.  Tastebud Tours are available in Chicago and  New Orleans.

For decades, Lynn and Karon have shared their passion for Chicago foods and introduced their Chicago favorites to family, friends and guests.  They love showing off their sweet home Chicago and now welcome you to join a Tastebud tour during your visit.

Chicago has a rich culinary history that includes famous deep dish pizza, Chicago style hot dogs, Italian beef, unique restaurants, bars and specialty food shops. On all Tastebud Tours, everyone walks at a leisurely pace allowing all to see, hear, smell, taste up close, and truly enjoy some of Chicago’s most interesting and tasty spots! Tastebud guides are friendly and brimming with knowledge about the sights and tastes along the way. They lead small-sized groups with a personalized touch and invite conversation and interaction.

Tastebud Tours has gained great popularity in Chicago, now a TripAdvisor Top Ten attraction. Having launched successfully in Chicago, Karon and Lynn will Launch Tastebud Tours in New Orleans in October 2011. We love NOLA, it’s culture, it’s people, it’s soul and it’s fabulous food! We want to help create jobs,rebuild and restote this beautiful city.
